IMG threaten with boycot as Lagardère take over Stockholm Open

Sports and media giant IMG seem to be losing their contract to run Swedish ATP tournament Stockholm Open. The owners of SO are only details away from signing a new deal with French competitor Lagardère, which according to reports have caused IMG to threaten to stop their biggest stars from participating in the tournament. Channel 9 and Richard Wilkins defile journalism

At first, I laughed out loud at Stephen Colbert and Jeff Goldblum making fun of the Twitter rumour regarding the latter’s supposed death. Then I watched the reports from Australian television and got really upset – the clips below are the antimatter to real journalism and overall dignity.
